This is the 2nd box I have ordered. First box was from QLD, 2nd from WA, both boxes had a large number of fruit affected by a sort of brown rot on the inside. The fruit looks and smells lovely on the outside, but inside it’s gone brown, gelatinous and less flavourful.
I mentioned this to the Feijoa Addiction team the first time and they offered a credit for the ruined fruit, which I decided not to pursue, hoping it would be better next time. Response was quick.
When the 2nd box arrived (more expensive box with large fruit), I sent a message to let them know about 1/2 the box was affected. I definitely wanted some sort of compensation for the ruined fruit this time. After some discussion, the company provided a refund, so at least this is a company you can trust to deal with you properly.
Ordered these from interstate and was impressed with how fresh and quickly delivered my feijoas were. The large sizes are about the size of your palms. Definitely worth the price, will purchase again, thank you! A+
